Palace of the Grand Master Tickets — Skip-the-Line Timed Entry

Full daytime admission to the Palace of the Grand Master · your chosen date and hourly slot

Reserve my entry

This is full daytime admission to the Palace of the Grand Master of the Knights of Rhodes — the fortified Kastello, its grand vaulted halls, the ancient mosaic floors brought from the island of Kos, and the two permanent exhibitions on ancient and medieval Rhodes. We reserve your entry for the single date and hourly slot you choose and send it to your phone, so you walk straight past the ticket-office queue to the gate.

What's included

Every booking includes the elements below — handled by our concierge team before your visit and confirmed at the gate.

• Palace of the Grand Master entry — the full monument: the fortified Kastello of the Knights, its grand vaulted halls and inner courtyard • Ancient mosaic floors brought from the island of Kos, laid through the halls • Two permanent exhibitions — on ancient Rhodes and on medieval and early-Christian Rhodes • Timed-entry ticket — reserved for the date and hourly slot you choose • 5-minute audio history sent before your visit • Booking handled in your own language

Who this is for

This is standard full daytime admission, ideal for independent travellers and cruise passengers who want to skip the on-the-day queue and have everything handled. The standard ticket needs no passport or name. The operator sets its own reduced and free categories (for example for children and certain EU visitors), which may require ID at the gate — contact our team if you think one applies to you. Note the Street of the Knights and the wider medieval Old Town around the palace are free to walk and open to all; this ticket is for the palace itself.

On the day

The palace stands at the top of the walled Old Town of Rhodes, at the head of the Street of the Knights — a short walk up through the pedestrianised medieval city from the harbour and the new town. Show your mobile ticket at the gate within your booked hour and walk the courtyard, the grand halls with their Kos mosaics and the two exhibitions before the cruise groups arrive. The interior is cool and shaded, but the cobbled walk up is sun-exposed, so bring a hat, water and sturdy shoes, and allow about 1 to 1.5 hours for the palace. Leave extra time to wander the Street of the Knights and the medieval Old Town around it, which are free to explore.

Frequently asked

Is my ticket valid any time?
It's a timed-entry ticket — you choose your date and hourly slot when you book and we reserve that slot for you, shown on your ticket. Entry is valid for a single admission during that hour.
Is it skip-the-line?
Your entry is reserved before you arrive, so you go straight to the gate instead of queuing at the ticket office.
Are the mosaics and exhibitions included?
Yes — the ancient Kos mosaic floors and both permanent exhibitions, on ancient and medieval Rhodes, are inside the palace and covered by your ticket. The Street of the Knights and the Old Town outside are free to all.
How do I receive it?
As a mobile ticket by email once confirmed — nothing to print.
How long should I allow?
About 1 to 1.5 hours for the palace, its mosaics and exhibitions, plus more time to wander the Street of the Knights and the medieval Old Town around it.
